    About

    The Radioactive Terror is a player-triggered horror mod centered on awakening a destructive, Godzilla-inspired beast and trying to defeat it for a reward. Radioactive waste blocks found in pillars in plains, jungle, and savanna biomes trigger the creature’s arrival. The Terror’s intense radiation damages nearby mobs, while staying underground too long before it is defeated causes an anxiety effect that blinds and harms the player. In its initial form, the fast, regenerating creature is about three blocks tall and attacks with an aimable heat ray that can break blocks; after mutation, it grows to over ten blocks tall and its atomic breath becomes much more powerful. After mutation, players can collect radioactive waste dropped by the heat ray to craft a bomb, a hazmat mask that reduces radiation damage at the cost of slower movement and darkness, and the Radioactive Annihilator, which can kill the Terror if used in time.
