Tonic and Wild Medicine adds craftable natural remedies and drinks for survival, beginning with medicinal herbs found in plains, taiga, snowy taiga, forests, flower forests, and river biomes; herbs yield leaves and flowers, and can also provide seeds for cultivation. Herb blends restore health and provide regeneration, with stronger recipes including the Honey Herb Blend, which restores nine hearts, and the Antidote, which removes negative effects. Simple tonics offer regeneration alongside strength, resistance, or speed, while special options include fire resistance, night vision and glowing, levitation with slow falling, and the Ancient Tonic’s unusual mix of regeneration, weakness, night vision, and Bad Omen. Fermented drinks such as Hydromel, Apple Drink, Golden Apple Drink, Enchanted Golden Apple Drink, Whisky, and Primal Whisky grant combinations of regeneration and other buffs; most also cause brief nausea and darkness, while golden apple drinks avoid those side effects. The mod also adds combat and risk mechanics: glass bottles can inflict bleeding that medicinal blends can cure, and a bottle can be crafted into a fragile Broken Bottle weapon. Its jungle tobacco crop can be farmed and processed into cigarettes and cigars, which trade temporary speed, attack speed, or resistance for addiction and after-effects; repeated cigarette use can cause Wither. Dangerous jungle belladonna poisons players on contact, while its fruit causes Torpor that immobilizes the player; belladonna fruit and leaves can also be combined with a Tomahawk and thrown as toxic weapons. Lunar flowers in dark oak forests grant Glowing and Lunar Grace, while related additions include Moonshine found or crafted for multiple bottles, Lunarshine and Lunar Blend, a Suspect Plant and cigarette, a throwable Molotov Cocktail, a Cowboy Hat, and three themed music discs.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
