About
Tough As Nails Early Game Fix adds early survival options for Tough As Nails players who spawn in deserts or savannas, helping them endure heat and thirst while searching for a wooded biome. Its cooling gear includes bamboo, straw, and reed hats, plus a desert headscarf and robes; the desert clothing can be made without a crafting table, using materials such as rabbit hide and string, and provides little or no defense. For water, a bowl can be filled at still water to provide the same thirst relief as a water bottle, though it cannot be purified and stacks to eight. The mod also adds straw, cloth, and sinew as crafting materials, and supports using Farmer’s Delight straw in place of its own straw by default.
