    About

    Version Checker helps players find updates for installed mods, presenting outdated mods in a single list instead of filling the chat with startup messages. When it detects outdated mods, it adds a main-menu button showing how many updates are available; opening it displays each mod’s current version and the available update. Double-clicking a listed mod opens its changelog when one is available, and update links can either download the mod directly or take the player to a page where the update can be found. After updates, the mod can remove the old files automatically, with a restart needed to finish applying them. It also provides an open-source version-checking system that other mod authors can implement to register update information.
