Village & Pillage Roamers adds naturally spawning villager and pillager characters that players encounter while traveling, with different roles that shape how they interact with the world. Villager roamers include Adventurers, who can provide hunting gear, meat, or better-tier loot; Beggars, who can be helped with food or emeralds and converted with an emerald block; Explorers, who find farming goods and offer bounty-related trades; and Warriors, who defend villagers and can interact with bounties. Pillager roamers include Ambushers that defend pillagers from major threats, Dealers who trade goods for emeralds or sapphires, Exiles that can be hired as bodyguards, Prisoners whose chains can be broken to free them, Scouts who spy on villages and players, and Thieves and Miners associated with stolen and gathered resources. The mod adds item and kill bounties, including targets marked as Most Wanted, which can be selected or found on Wanted Posters and claimed at Bounty Boards for rewards; boards can also provide Villager Contracts with higher-value loot. Explorers and Warriors provide additional ways to find or claim bounties, while Exiles can buy completed pillager-kill bounties for emeralds. New resources include sapphire and its shards, emerald fragments and their ore, gravel ores, and randomly found piles; the mod also adds rare Pristine Emeralds and emerald pouches for carrying emeralds and emerald blocks. Sapphire can be used for trading and crafting sapphire-tier shovels, pickaxes, hoes, and axes, while sapphire blocks can serve as beacon foundations. Decorative additions include Andesite Bricks, chained shelves, adjustable angled chains, chain fences, support beams, filled barrels and composters, and clipped TNT; new structures and landmarks include a Wanted Poster Tree, an Excavation Pillager Outpost, and signposts that can help guide players toward roamers. The mod also adds Villager and Pillager Charms that grant Hero of the Village and Bad Omen effects, respectively.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Replaces 1 of vanilla Minecraft's loot tables.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
