A tech mod for generating energy and process materials using familiar and novel machines.

Voluminous Energy is a technology mod that expands energy generation and material processing with a progression of machines, from early iron-tier equipment toward more advanced aluminum-tier systems. Early on, a Primitive Blast Furnace turns coal into longer-burning Coal Coke, a Primitive Stirling Generator supplies power, and a Crusher grinds materials while often yielding more ore than furnace smelting; an Electrolyzer then separates elements from processed compounds. As players progress, machines add capabilities such as compressing ingots into plates, pumping fluids, distilling crude oil, making alloys, separating mixed fluids or dusts, and growing organics hydroponically. Power options include primitive and upgraded Stirling Generators, solar panels, and a Combustion Generator that runs on liquid fuel and oxidizer, while the mod also provides solid fuels such as Coal Coke and Petcoke and liquid fuels including crude oil, gasoline, diesel, biofuel, and nitroglycerin. Crude oil can be found in world-generated geysers and lakes, and refining it in a Distillation Unit yields more efficient fuels and Petcoke. World generation includes Saltpeter, Bauxite, Cinnabar, Galena, Rutile, and Eighzo, appearing in ore blobs and, for some resources, rarer rich deposits; these resources feed into the mod’s processing and progression. Machines with upgrade slots can be sped up using Quartz Multipliers, trading higher power consumption for faster processing.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 82 blocks, 179 items, 1 biome, 411 recipes, 18 advancements and 9 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its code
The author declares AI code on Modrinth.
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
