    About

    Weather, Storms & Tornadoes Concurrent Packet Fix is a lightweight global patch that prevents client disconnects caused by concurrent modifications while Minecraft serializes NBT data. It addresses cases where a network thread reads a CompoundTag as the game thread changes it, which can trigger a ConcurrentModificationException. The patch intercepts CompoundTag serialization and takes a thread-safe snapshot using lock-free retries, with a 100-attempt limit before writing an empty tag to preserve connection stability. Although developed in response to Weather2, it can also protect other mods that access NBT data across threads, without changing their source code or requiring configuration. If the underlying threading issue has already been fixed, the patch can defer to vanilla behavior instead.
