    About

    Wildlands overhauls Minecraft world generation to create expansive, detailed landscapes intended to feel believable and support both exploration and building in survival play. Its climate zones blend varied biomes into cohesive scenery, from alpine conifer forests, snowy mountains, and freshwater lakes to temperate meadows and forests, desert dunes and sandstone cliffs, savanna lowlands, red-desert mesas, snowy ice spikes, and dense jungle forests. Across these landscapes, thousands of handcrafted terrain features add points of interest, including volcanoes, glaciers, craters, canyons, redwood stands, and distinctive cliffs and peaks. Rivers receive special attention, with improved generation that can include underground tunnels, while features such as volcanic crater lakes and savanna lakes add further variation.
