Winefox's Spellbooks connects Touhou Little Maid with Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks, letting maids become spellcasters when equipped with spellbooks or spell-imbued gear. In Magic Attack, maids choose spells for their own hostile targets, manage mana and cooldowns, and reposition during combat; in Magic Support, they heal, buff, or cleanse their owner and allies and debuff enemies without starting fights. The mod adds the Winefox Hex school, built around cooperation between player and maid: Crescent Brand marks foes for follow-up detonations, while the maid's stronger, chaining detonations build the player's Brewsurge spell-power stacks. Other Hex spells include Foxshade Wisps and Foxshade Ambush for attacks, Crescent Mantle for protection and invisibility, Decant the Bind for debuff removal, Tipsy Mist to hinder enemies, and Vintner's Bomb, whose wine pools can restore mana to the player's maids. The school also includes Mana Transfer and Summon Maid, which calls a temporary squad to fight alongside the player; summoned maids use configurable warrior, mage, or support loadouts and may include broom-flying casters. Winefox Hex's Vulpine Anima focus and Crescent Blood Vintage are obtainable through sources including maid gifts, fairies killed by maids, and structure chests, while Hex scrolls can appear in stronghold libraries, nether fortresses, and Iron's Spells structures. The mod supplies spell-behavior classifications for spells from 15 Iron's Spells addons, including Monsters & Spellbooks, Somake Spells, Apprentice's Codex, Ender's Spells and Stuff: Requiem, and Cataclysm: Spellbooks; installed addons are recognized automatically. Maid spell choices, combat behavior, summoned-maid limits, and spell classifications can be adjusted through server configuration, with datapacks also able to customize spell tags and summoned-maid loadouts.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 1 area: Mobs and their behaviorChanges 2 game code files in this area: mobs, animals, villagers, projectiles and how they move and act..
Adds 3 items, 1 projectile, 6 other entities, 1 loot table and 11 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
