BeLoong is a Chinese-themed adventure modpack built around becoming a dragon and exploring the world from a dragon’s perspective. Players can choose Cave, Forest, Sea, Tundra, or Aether dragons, each with exclusive skills, growth mechanics, and weaknesses; the journey begins as a vulnerable hatchling and advances through trials toward ancient dragonhood. An extensive FTB Quests system provides dragon-specific questlines and a guided progression through challenges such as fighting Dragon Hunters, defeating the Ender Dragon, unlocking the Twilight Forest, and traveling to Eternal Starlight to face its bosses. The adventure brings together Ice and Fire, The Twilight Forest, and Cataclysm, with custom changes including a new Twilight Forest final boss and the ability for player dragons to use the Dragon Forge; it also adds the Eternal Starlight dimension and the boss Chesed. Chinese-inspired additions include Eastern-mystery spells for players who prefer a human path through Iron’s Spells ’n Spellbooks, as well as the Dragon Pavilion and a traditional Chinese courtyard as generated buildings. Designed with multiplayer in mind, the pack also includes the UNO Card Game for playing with friends.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge, 5 Apr 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 20 Mar 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 219 of its 221 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
5 mods send something about you
We read the code of 205 of its 207 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI named in 2 of the 163 mods we checked
We found an AI tool named in them, or their authors declare AI content.
14 other mods show AI use only from after this release (5 Apr 2026), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
44 mods are not checked yet.
1 mod can use AI in the game.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
