Throw snowballs with different effects, from icy shards to explosions.
26.8 of the 61 points that apply = 44 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Winter Massacre expands ordinary snowballs into a collection of specialized projectiles, each with its own effect on impact or flight. Snow Dust creates a cloud of snow particles, the Icy Snowball bursts into ice shards, and the Dynamite Snowball explodes after a delay; a Snowball with Stone hits harder, while the Lucky Snowball deals a random amount of damage. Several snowballs alter targets or their surroundings: the Honey Snowball slows mobs, the Slimy Snowball launches them upward, the Nether Warty Snowball gives them a random effect, the Ender Pearl version teleports them, and the End Stone version pulls them slightly toward the thrower. Other projectiles interact with items and experience, including the Magnetic Snowball, which attracts items, and the Quartz version, which teleports nearby experience to the thrower; the Prismarine Shards version also throws shards alongside the snowball. For varied flight and combat behavior, the Eye of Ender version flies in the direction the player is looking, the Phantom Snowball homes toward the mob hit, the Copper Feathers version flies faster, and the Blade version pierces enemies. The Floral Snowball grows stronger at higher light levels, while the Mushroom Snowball grows stronger at lower ones; the Amethyst version leaves crystals that break into damaging shards when stepped on, and the Chorus Fruit version teleports to a random nearby location after hitting a mob and continues flying. Additional options include a Durable Snowball that may survive a hit, a Nether Brick version that deals more damage to mobs in the Nether, a Diamond version that increases damage to the same mob with successive hits, and a Dual Snowball that heals when thrown while sneaking but poisons otherwise.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 1 block, 42 items, 1 entity, 28 recipes and 1 sound.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Replaces 1 of vanilla Minecraft's text files.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
