About
Snowy Spirit adds winter and Christmas-themed activities, decorations, creatures, and village behavior to Minecraft, with configurable blocks and items that can be tweaked or disabled. Its sleds follow snowy terrain over slopes, gain speed downhill, slide and steer on snow and ice, and can carry storage such as chests; carpet customization helps prevent freezing in powdered snow. Attach a tamed wolf with a lead to pull a sled for greater speed and easier climbing, or find a chest sled with winter loot outside some igloos. In winter, villagers may hang wreaths on their doors and, with Supplementaries installed, place presents near their meeting point; taiga and tundra baby villagers also throw snowballs during play. Winter timing can be configured, and the mod can follow Serene Seasons when that mod is installed. Decorations and interactive blocks include gingerbread blocks made from ginger, with wild ginger growing in Sparse Jungles; colorful gumdrops that respond to entities like buttons and pressure plates; candy cane blocks; wreaths; glow lights for leaves; and snow globes that turn snowy where snow can fall. Gingerbread golems can be made from gingerbread blocks, a pumpkin, and a gumdrop button; they follow their owner, can sit on command, and can be repaired with gingerbread cookies. Snowy biomes can generate gingerbread houses containing a witch and naturally spawning gingerbread golems, while a winter music disc can rarely be found in presents and igloo sled chests.
