    About

    Winter Update expands winter and ice biomes with wildlife, hostile creatures, and seasonal threats, including reindeer and deer, polar wolves, musk oxen, mammoths, frozen zombies, yetis, Cave Bears, and Krampus. You can tame polar wolves, raise musk oxen, hunt mammoths for meat, tusks, and hides, and use deer antlers to craft spears; predators may attack nearby deer and musk oxen. Encounters include Aztec hunters who attack with spears, while bosses such as the fireball-throwing Krampus guard a progression toward Aztec sites and locked old chests that require a Strange Key dropped by Krampus. New armor helps protect against freezing, and drops and crafting materials support new weapons and equipment, including a back-worn bag with storage slots. Achievement steps provide guidance through the adventure, and mammoth meat can be placed on the ground to lure predators such as Cave Bears and Lone Wolves.
