About
Wonders of the World is an animal-focused addon for ZAWA: Evolved, expanding its zoo and wildlife gameplay with realistic, ZAWA-style animals, including species that receive less attention in popular media. Its roster spans hoofstock and felines as well as birds, reptiles, rodents and fish; examples include the western lowland bongo, pygmy hippopotamus, squirrel monkey, fennec fox, warthog and spectacled caiman. Animals appear in different habitats and groups, and have distinct temperaments: timid species such as the Eurasian hamster flee from players, while predators such as the caracal actively pursue them. Players can discover and capture animals, with different capture approaches reflected in the roster, from picking up a hamster by hand to transporting a guanaco in a capture cage; the addon also includes taming and collection achievements. Five ambient fish species can populate aquariums and ponds, while decorative animal plushies can be displayed or worn on the player’s head. The addon also provides zoo-building materials, including limestone, breeze block, stained rebar, black brick and several cracked-stone variants, along with black-wire bars that can be made into doors, trapdoors, slabs and full blocks. It requires ZAWA: Evolved and can be used alongside other compatible animal and building additions, including Lil Critters, Eco-Regions, Frikinzi’s Fauna, Biomes O’ Plenty and Chipped.
