Zoo and Wild Animals: Evolved adds wild animals and zoo-keeping systems to Minecraft, letting players capture animals, care for them, and build exhibits while learning real-world conservation and animal science information. Its tamable animals include African lions, Asian elephants, giant pandas, orcas, snow leopards, and red kangaroos, alongside birds such as bald eagles and macaws; ambient species include fish, butterflies, bees, ants, praying mantises, scorpions, and tarantulas. Animals have individual care and breeding characteristics: tamable animals have genders, favorite foods, and different breeding success rates, and need food, water, and suitable enrichment after taming with kibble. Players can catch and transport animals using tools suited to their size and habitat, including capture cages, nets, a net gun, handling gloves, and seine nets for aquatic animals. A data book provides animal information, including stats for wild animals and care, diet, and enrichment details for tamed animals. Zoo-building supplies include exhibit glass and several fence styles, animal plaques for adding sign text, benches and picnic tables, and decorative plants for terrestrial and aquatic habitats. Feeders provide food and water, while enrichment features such as climbing branches and vines, perches, heat lamps, browse, scratching posts, salt licks, and tire swings support animals’ needs and behavior. The mod also adds ways to produce animal feed, including bug boxes for insects and mussel boxes for shellfish, plus an incubator that improves the chance of eggs hatching.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
