An experimental pack for testing upcoming Feed The Beast modpacks.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 144 graded mods, 61 are graded A or B, 23 C and 60 D to F. Its last update came out 7 years ago, for Minecraft 1.14.4. See the mods
FTB Unstable 1.14 is Feed The Beast’s experimental testing pack for its newer Minecraft packs, intended as a bleeding-edge platform rather than a stable, supported experience. Its changing mod selection includes technology and automation projects such as BluePower, Create, RFTools Builder, and Steve’s Factory Manager, alongside exploration and world-content additions including The Endergetic Expansion, Farlanders, and Mystical World. The pack also brings in magic, gear, and practical gameplay additions, with examples such as Forbidden Arcanus, Apotheosis, Trinity Weapons, Simple Farming, diving gear, and useful backpacks.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.14.4 · Forge, 20 Oct 2019). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
2 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 12 Oct 2019 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 145 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Its mods send nothing about you
We read the code of all 145 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 3 of the 79 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
66 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
