A smoother way to play the inventory-free April Fools snapshot.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 10 graded mods, 8 are graded A or B, 1 C and 1 D to F. Its last update came out 2.4 years ago. See the mods
Simply One Block is an optimization modpack for Minecraft’s One Block at a Time April Fools snapshot, preserving its unusual rules while selecting compatible mods, including Sodium and Starlight. The snapshot removes the inventory and crafting menu: mined blocks go straight into your hand, items are single-use, and crafting recipes are assembled in the world on a Crafting Table. Combat and movement also work differently: attacking picks up mobs, skeletons shoot where you look, chickens let you flap and fall slowly, and spiders let you climb walls. Progression to the End involves repairing a Ruined Portal, then finding End Portal Frames in Nether Fortresses; placing a frame points toward the nearest Stronghold. In the End, you can fly to the crystals with a carried chicken, destroy them, and ride the Ender Dragon to return and open the portal.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 22w13oneblockatatime · Fabric, 12 Jun 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 10 of its 11 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
No Minecraft release version is listed for this project.
