Build and survive with BuildCraft and a small set of helpful mods.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 10 graded mods, 2 are graded A or B, 1 C and 7 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.7.10. See the mods
Surviving with BuildCraft & Friends is a compact survival and building modpack centered on a return to classic BuildCraft-style modded Minecraft, with a small selection of aesthetic and quality-of-life additions. BuildCraft and BuildCraft Additions provide the core, alongside RailCraft, Logistics Pipes, and JABBA for transport and storage, while Carpenter’s Blocks, Chisel 2, and Eureka add building options. Pam’s HarvestCraft adds a farming and food dimension, and tools such as Inventory Tweaks, JourneyMap, NotEnoughItems, and WAILA support inventory management, navigation, item browsing, and in-game information. Logistics Pipes are adjusted so that one in every five pipes must be a Logistics Pipes pipe for the network to communicate.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.7.10 · Forge, 17 Apr 2015). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 13 Apr 2015 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 13 mods and the files in the pack itself.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI tool in the 6 mods we checked, and no AI content is declared for them on Modrinth.
7 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
