A ready-to-play pack for exploring, catching, and battling Pokémon.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 14 graded mods, 14 are graded A or B, 0 C and none D to F. Its last update came out 2 days ago, for Minecraft 1.21.1. See the mods
The Pixelmon Modpack is a ready-to-play setup designed to make it easier to get started with Pixelmon, combining the Pokémon-focused mod with a soundtrack and exploration tools. Pixelmon brings Pokémon exploration, catching, and battles to Minecraft, while its 23 onboarding and progression research quests guide players through activities such as catching, breeding, fossil revival, raid dens, and legendary tracking. The pack also includes Oh The Biomes You'll Go, which adds more than 80 biomes with Pixelmon integration, plus Nature's Compass for locating biomes and Explorer's Compass for finding structures. JourneyMap includes Pokémon sprite integration, and the Pixelmon soundtrack by Chris Geddes provides music tailored to the experience.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge, 22 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 17 Sep 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 14 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
2 mods send something about you
We read the code of 12 of its 13 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 2 of the 13 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
