About
Thunder is a lightweight performance-focused modpack intended to improve Minecraft’s frame rate, reduce lag, shorten loading times, and use fewer system resources, particularly on lower-end computers. It keeps the vanilla gameplay experience rather than adding new gameplay content, using stable performance mods and their essential dependencies. The included performance tools vary by version; documented examples include Sodium, Lithium, Entity Culling, Concurrent Chunk Management Engine, Optimized Block Entities, and BadOptimizations.
