About
Vanilla Sky: Everything From Nothing is an expert-level, nearly vanilla SkyBlock challenge for technical players, where survival and progression depend on applying knowledge of Minecraft mechanics. You begin on a small grass island with an oak tree and must work through unusual resource paths, such as killing zombies for iron to make a cauldron and collect rainwater, using lightning to turn pigs into zombified piglins for gold, and converting a vex into an allay with music. The challenge is designed to make every block, item, enchantment, mob, and advancement obtainable using almost entirely vanilla mechanics, with additional advancements to guide progression. SkyBlock generation preserves biomes and structure locations despite removing nearly all blocks, so biome- and structure-dependent mobs can still appear, including husks in deserts and blazes in Nether fortresses. The gameplay changes fill key resource gaps, including ways to obtain lava and create more sand, while keeping most other additions cosmetic. Progress may involve extended grinding or AFK periods, and external tools such as Chunkbase or MiniHUD can help players work out what to do next.
