    About

    Carpet is a technical mod for vanilla Minecraft that lets players and server operators control selected game rules and inspect how the game is running, while leaving the game vanilla by default until features are enabled. Its tools can fast-forward ticks to test farms over long periods in minutes, count and break down farm output with hopperCounters, and display live server information such as TPS and mobcaps through logging. Carpet also includes Scarpet, an in-game programming language for creating scripts that interact with the game and add custom tools or behaviors; built-in and community-made apps can extend what players do in a world. Other documented features include allowing pistons to move block entities such as chests and, through an optional rule, visualizing entity details such as health, pathfinding, pickup range, villager behavior, and portal cooldowns.
