About
Vulkan32 is a lightweight modpack built around VulkanMod, combining performance-focused optimizations to improve frame rates and overall game performance, including on devices that have poor or limited OpenGL support. It aims to stay close to vanilla by default while leaving configuration choices to players, and is designed as a base for adding other mods with compatibility in mind. Examples of mods it can be played with include BetterF3, Entity Texture Features, Gamma Utils, Litematica, Macaw's Furniture, Simple Voice Chat and Tom's Simple Storage Mod. Every download also includes No Chat Reports, which lets players choose whether their chat messages are signed for the chat-reporting system. Players can adjust advanced chunk culling and chunk-builder thread counts to balance frame rates, visual artifacts, frame-time stability and chunk-loading speed.

No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 17 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
How we checked
- Its projects17 mods
- Files in the pack itself13 settings files, no mod jars.
- Author on ModrinthThe disclosure form on Modrinth, where the author declares that the project reads or edits things on your system outside the game. Since 13 Aug 2026, Modrinth's rules require it when this applies.Nothing declared about your system outside the game.

1 mod sends something about you
We read the code of all 17 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
How we checked
- Go online onlyTheir code contacts a web address, for example to check for updates. We found nothing it sends about you.2 mods
- Send nothingTheir code contacts no web address.14 mods
AI
AI used in 1 of the 17 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in it, or its author declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
How we checked
- Author on ModrinthThe disclosure form on Modrinth. Since 13 Aug 2026, Modrinth's rules require it when a substantial part of the code is AI output, when an asset is mainly AI output, or when the project or its page relies on generative AI.No AI content declared.
- Description and changelogsThe description, project page and newest changelogs: sentences saying an AI tool was used, and text pasted from an AI chat.Nothing found20 changelogs read
