A modpack that boosts frame rates and helps reduce lag.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 22 graded mods, 22 are graded A or B, 0 C and none D to F. Its last update came out 4 months ago, for Minecraft 26.1.2. See the mods
Vulkanix is a client-side, vanilla-focused optimization modpack that replaces Minecraft’s standard OpenGL renderer with Vulkan to improve performance and reduce resource use, including memory use. It also supports shaders and resource packs, and includes optimizations for network activity, rendering unseen blocks and entities, mob and block processing, and switching languages. When Minecraft is minimized, the pack reduces its background resource use.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 26.1.2 · Fabric, 14 Jun 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 22 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 22 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI tool in the 22 mods we checked, and no AI content is declared for them on Modrinth.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
