PNAPBR is a 16x PBR overlay resource pack based on vanilla textures, intended to add material detail when used with PBR shaders. It adds parallax occlusion mapping, normal and specular maps, emissive details, and connected textures, with full CTM support required. The showcased work spans blocks and environments including sand and sandstone, stone, wood, rails, redstone, blackstone, amethyst, mangrove and cherry wood, bamboo, lush caves, and the Nether. The project is described as mostly complete, though still a work in progress.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes 1,725 block textures, 25 mob and entity textures (Bell, Chest and Shulker) and 42 models.
Adds 60 block textures, 50 mob and entity textures and 4 models. In OptiFine's formats: 10 connected textures, custom colors and 1 other file.
Block textures are mostly 16 by 16 pixels. 51 block and item textures are animated.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
