Retro Textures gives standard Minecraft gameplay a retro look by replacing many textures with designs reminiscent of Minecraft’s early days. For an even older visual style, it can be layered over the Programmer Art resource pack.

Changes 161 block textures, 100 item textures, 74 mob and entity textures, 20 interface textures, the main menu background, the enchantment glint, 55 models and 4 other files.
Adds 9 block textures, 16 item textures, 1 mob and entity texture, 13 sounds and 121 language files. In OptiFine's formats: 1 entity model and varied textures for 1 mob.
Block textures are mostly 16 by 16 pixels, up to 32 by 32. 7 block and item textures are animated.
