    About

    Cobblemon Legendary Encounters adds natural, ultra-rare spawn configurations for almost every Legendary and Mythical Pokémon from Generations 1 through 9, creating a challenging hunting experience instead of encounters limited to commands. Encounters are tied to fitting biomes, weather, and time: Kyogre appears in deep oceans, Groudon in badlands or deserts, Zapdos during thunderstorms, Ho-Oh on clear sunny days, and Darkrai at midnight. Other examples include Rayquaza in the highest Jagged Peaks during thunderstorms, Articuno in icy biomes, Mewtwo in the Deep Dark, and Dialga and Palkia in extreme Overworld peaks and the End’s vast islands. The datapack adds spawn behavior rather than textures, and its legendary Pokémon use an isLegendary tag for compatibility with server-wide notification systems.
