SimpleTMs expands Cobblemon with Pokémon-style Technical Machines (TMs) and Technical Records (TRs), letting players teach moves to their Pokémon. A TM teaches its assigned move and normally has 32 uses, while a TR teaches its move once before breaking; eligible Pokémon are selected from the party, and item tooltips show move details such as type and description. Blank TMs and TRs can be imprinted with a move chosen from a Pokémon’s moveset, creating a reusable TM or single-use TR; by default, they can hold any move, while Pokémon can learn moves from their TM, Tutor, and Egg Move groups. Players can obtain the blank items through crafting, find TRs and occasional TMs in structure chests such as villages and ruined portals, and receive them as Pokémon drops; chest contents can vary by location, and in battle players choose from four random moves in the fainted Pokémon’s learnset. Portable TM and TR Cases organize move collections, with TMs stored one per move and TRs stackable, while a placeable TM Machine offers shared storage for both item types. The storage interface supports move previews, searching by name or tags such as #fire and #physical, filters for all, stored, or missing moves, and filtering by Pokémon; four duplicate TMs or TRs can also be recycled into a blank item of the same kind. Optional data and resource pack compatibility with Gravel’s Extended Battles adds TMs and TRs for that mod’s new moves and types.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 1 block: TM Machine; 4 items: TM Case, TR Case, Blank TM and Blank TR; 8 recipes and 45 loot tables.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
