Enchantology is a Minecraft data pack that adds 54 enchantments and curses, expanding how players can customize weapons, armor, tools, and other equipment. The additions cover combat, defense, movement, and utility: Heartguard can grant regeneration and absorption when its wearer is near death, Sand Strider speeds movement over sand at the cost of durability, and Magnetic draws dropped loot from farther away. Ranged combat gains effects such as Shrieking, which sends a sonic attack through air and water, Thunderbolting, which calls lightning during thunderstorms, and Transposition, which swaps the attacker’s position with a struck opponent. Other enchantments alter exploration and everyday play, including Quarrying for rapidly mining a broad range of stone blocks and Frost Trotter for leaving frosted ice when a horse walks over water. Players can acquire enchantments through the enchanting table, fishing, and loot found across the world, including in locations such as Pillager Outposts, Bastions, End Cities, and Ancient Cities.
Written from Modrinth and the GitHub README . How we write it
Runs 65 function files: 3 every game tick and 1 when the pack loads. Its commands can place or replace blocks, remove entities, items or data and change game or server settings.
Does not change world generation.
Adds 54 enchantments, 5 advancements, 46 tags, 3 predicates and 54 more files in other folders.
Replaces 22 of vanilla Minecraft's loot tables and 1 tag.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a data pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A data pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
