About
A Sylvan Origin adds a nature-focused farming origin for the Origins mod, centered on growing crops, exploring, and caring for the natural world. Breaking fully grown crops has an 80% chance to grant 2 experience, while food provides 40% less hunger and saturation; the Sylvan can consume only plant-based foods and is pained when peaceful creatures are harmed. Place a carved pumpkin on leaves and spend 25 experience levels to summon a Leafy Friend that automatically farms nearby crops, or put a carved pumpkin on an armor stand to create a scarecrow that slows and weakens nearby hostile mobs. The Sylvan can summon snake fangs against nearby bow-wielding hunters, and eating foods such as honey bottles or pumpkin pies heals nearby passive mobs. The origin also replaces headgear with antlers and adds flowery villages in Flower Forest biomes, as well as Leaf Spirit mechanics and hidden easter eggs.
