About
Genesis is an addon for the Origins mod that adds five playable origins, each with its own abilities, strengths, and drawbacks. As a Golemborn, you are larger and tougher than a human, deal extra unarmed damage, and can launch enemies into the air, but move slowly, consume more food, cannot use shields, and can eat only metal items. Arcanites wield spells powered by regenerating mana, including fireballs, lightning strikes, withering, plasma immunity, and flight as they reach higher levels; their frail bodies have reduced health. Ghastlings fire flaming projectiles and float gently to the ground, but have less health and need more food. Infested characters can burrow through stone, gain underground night vision, and summon friendly silverfish when hurt; their small size and sensitivity to bright light come with reduced health and a need to stay near stone. Dragonkin can fly with an elytra, launch dragon fireballs, and benefit from tough scales, but are slowed on the ground and can eat only meat.
