About
Advanced Solar Panels expands IC2’s solar power options with upgraded panels that generate energy during the day, at night, and in rainy weather. Each of these panels has four charge slots for charging electric items simultaneously. The mod also adds solar helmets that charge electric items in the wearer’s inventory or, by default, just their armor; the Advanced, Hybrid, and Ultimate Solar Helmets match the generation of their corresponding panels. These helmets retain the quantum helmet’s underwater air supply and HUD, but not its other abilities, which are replaced by solar generation. A separate Quantum Generator provides a customizable power source for map makers and server administrators, with no crafting recipe; its GUI lets them set its output and energy tier, and generation can be disabled with a redstone signal. Configuration options let players adjust panel generation and storage, change the recipe difficulty between Normal and Hard, and disable panel recipes they do not want.
