    About

    Aerobatic Elytra adds a rocket-powered winged item that turns elytra flight into a lightweight flight-simulator experience, with fuel and durability to manage. In its aerobatic mode, the four attached rockets provide thrust while the wings generate lift; players steer by pitching and rolling, can sprint to boost, crouch to brake, and hold jump to steady their course. The item also has a vanilla flight mode, and its fuel can be replenished with firework rockets. Players can customize the wings with dyes and banner patterns, and set distinct colored or effect trails for each rocket using firework stars. Datapacks can adjust recipes and loot, place Aerobatic Elytras in End ships, define upgrade systems, and add conditional potion-effect abilities; bundled examples demonstrate these options. Server configuration can tune flight physics and other behavior, while the ability and upgrade system allows individual elytras to have different capabilities such as fuel capacity, speed, lift, or underwater flight.
