    About

    Aetherworks Refracted is an Embers Rekindled addon that adds end-game Aetherium materials, alchemy, and tools to the parent mod. Players discover ancient Aetherium meteorites by their circular craters or with an Aetheriometer, then use a Moonlight Harvester to gather Aetherium and process it for crafting. Aetherium-based alchemy uses the Aetherium Aspectus, while the Aetherium Forge and its Tool Forge provide the final crafting steps for the new gear. The gear includes the Pickaxe of the Molten Depths, which mines a strip pattern and places glimmers; the sculk-themed Axe of the Sonorous Archives, which vein-mines leaves and plants nearby saplings; and the prismarine-themed Shovel of the Timeless Cascades, which drains and places fluids with configurable capacity. Its two crossbows serve different combat roles: the Crossbow of the Stars Befall builds damage against a single target, while the Crossbow of the Shattered Reflection sends a ray chaining between nearby enemies; both apply Moongaze, a slow void-damage effect. Other additions include an Aetherium Crown with selectable effects on its wearer, nearby friends, or hostiles; vessel gems that can hold any potion; and the Tuning Cylinder augment, which lets tools find geodes while breaking blocks. The meteorites also provide Suevite, which can form when Aetherium aerosol meets water, alongside cobbled and brick forms. The project also adds two specialized hoes, one for crop farming and one for animal handling, plus an augment that prevents boots from trampling farmland.
