A modpack mixing magic and machines for exploration and crafting.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 288 graded mods, 204 are graded A or B, 64 C and 20 D to F. Its last update came out 12 months ago, for Minecraft 1.21.1. See the mods
Magitech Fantasia is a modpack designed to bring magic and engineering together, with exploration and quality-of-life improvements alongside their interaction. Its magical content includes Ars Nouveau, Occultism, Botania, and Hex Casting, with Ars-focused additions that expand its spells and connect magic to other systems. On the engineering side, Create is a major focus, including trains and integrations with Ars Nouveau, Botania, Occultism, and Applied Energistics 2; the pack also includes Applied Energistics 2 and Thermal Series. Players can explore expanded terrain and structures, including Terralith and Geophilic biome changes, Immersive Caves, YUNG’s improved temples, dungeons, mineshafts, fortresses, monuments, and strongholds, and villages added for the Council faction. The pack also includes practical adjustments such as features intended to reduce grinding, reclaiming resources from wands and staves, crushing recipes for additional resources, and quests for Create and Ars Nouveau.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 28 Oct 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 12 Oct 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 285 of its 290 projects and the files in the pack itself.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
7 mods send something about you
We read the code of 263 of its 267 mods.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI named in 2 of the 226 mods we checked
We found an AI tool named in them, or their authors declare AI content.
13 other mods show AI use only from after this release (28 Oct 2025), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
41 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
