    About

    Ageing Mobs adds gradual, condition-based growth and transformation for creatures, turning familiar mobs into altered or more dangerous forms as they spend time in particular environments or circumstances. Examples include creepers becoming charged during thunderstorms, zombies and husks changing with hot and cold biomes, and baby zombies growing into zombies; villagers kept in darkness can become vindicators, which can then become evokers near magical blocks such as bookshelves, brewing stands, and enchanting tables. Other transformations include guardians into elder guardians, endermites into shulkers by burying themselves in purpur blocks, skeletons and strays switching forms between cold and hot biomes, rabbits into killer rabbits in darkness, cows into mooshrooms near mushrooms or on mycelium, and bats into vexes. In the Nether, skeletons can age into bow-wielding wither skeletons and slimes into magma cubes. The mod includes configuration for its built-in ageing rules and CraftTweaker support for creating custom transformations based on conditions such as biome, blocks, light, weather, time, nearby entities, and other environmental factors.
