A survival pack with slower progress and tougher fights.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 288 graded mods, 200 are graded A or B, 64 C and 24 D to F. Its last update came out 3 weeks ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
Resurvival is a combat- and exploration-focused modpack that stretches survival progression, making resource management and planning more important than in vanilla Minecraft. The early game changes how players gather and craft: sticks are foraged rather than crafted, flint replaces stone tools, and furnaces require raw copper, so campfires matter until copper is found. Progression continues into the Nether, which is reached through an Ancient City Portal opened with an Echo Igniter, while diamond gear requires a Gem Forge and is therefore tied to Nether access. Combat brings tougher, more varied enemies through raised monster spawn caps and mods such as Enhanced AI, Enemy Expansion, Species and Opposing Force, alongside mobility options including wall-jumping and combat rolls. Players can develop distinct fighting styles with backstabs, airstrikes, Origin abilities such as Combat Bashes and Elytra Crits, and expanded archery and shields. Enchanting uses underground Enchanting Gems that can be traded for or fused in a Gem Forge; Sortilege adds randomized enchantments and limits how many an item can hold, with rare Limitite able to break that limit. Death preserves the hotbar, equipped armor and common building blocks, while the Grimm Trader can recover other lost belongings in exchange for a price. Exploration is shaped by custom-modified Angel Islands and Amplified Nether world generation, new biomes and structures including Galosphere cave biomes and YUNG’s Better structures, plus custom builds such as the Ancient Gardens and Trader Ship. The pack also includes custom Owlytrian and Crabling Origins, distinctive villagers and illagers called Owlagers and Illhawks, and the Gem Trader, who sells Enchanting Gems. Food stacks are smaller, and Farmer’s Delight with Spice of Life: Apple Pie Edition encourages varied cooking for additional buffs.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 2 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 9 Sep 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 290 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of 288 of its 290 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 22 of the 241 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
49 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
