    About

    Ancient Artifacts 2 expands Minecraft with more than 50 levelled artifacts, each offering distinct effects or abilities, with examples including an amulet that buffs tamed mobs, boots that enable shield parries and aerial attacks, and a necklace that restores health from damage dealt. Players can equip up to two artifacts at once; artifacts have five rarity tiers, and each comes with a challenge advancement that can reward additional artifact loot. Artifacts are found by exploring over 40 overgrown structures across the dimensions, clearing their mobs and opening artifact chests with amethyst shards; two original boss fights also add major combat encounters. Artifacts begin at level one and can be upgraded, while the artifact smith villager offers changing daily trades for duplicate artifacts, upgrades, templates and essence, as well as a map to the end-game dungeon. The artifact cauldron supports crafting artifacts from templates, compounds and relics using clues found on exploration parchments, whose recipes are generated separately for each world. For late-game recycling, players can retrieve an artifact hammer from the difficult roguelike artifact dungeon to break artifacts into materials, then combine artifact blend and optional rarity-specific essence to recover loot with adjusted chances of particular rarities.
