Raise spiders that grow up to become rideable companions.

Arachnid Rancher adds a raiseable spider companion, taking it from egg through spiderling to adult and offering several ways to use and develop it. Spider eggs can be collected and relocated, and a nest produced through breeding contains one to three eggs that hatch over time. Spiderlings and adults eat leaves, with dark oak leaves preferred; feeding helps them produce cobwebs, or string when there is no suitable place for a web. Adults can be bred and saddled as mounts, while saddled spiders can climb solid walls and are immune to fall damage. Feeding an adult a conversion item changes it into a combat breed: bone spiders gain iron-like armor and fight aggressively, zombie spiders are especially effective against zombies, and blaze spiders set their targets on fire. These combat spiders can follow their owner and fight threats, and each breed has its own healing food; the conversions are irreversible, and combat variants cannot be ridden.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.19.2.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 3 blocks, 11 items, 6 mobs, 1 recipe and 1 key binding.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.19.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.5 to 1.19.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
