    About

    Bareback Horse Riding lets players mount and ride horses without a saddle, so a newly found horse can be taken along without first finding a saddle. By default, riding bareback applies Slowness to both the player and horse; an optional setting can also damage the player at configurable intervals. Leather pants can prevent the Slowness or damage, with their durability reduced when they negate an effect if that option is enabled. The effects, damage behavior, and leather-pants protection can be adjusted or toggled in the configuration, while taming works as usual and a horse must be tamed and friendly before it can be steered.
