    About

    Bear Minimum adds black and brown bears to forested and mountainous biomes, with black bears favoring more moderate environments and brown bears rougher terrain. Black bears are generally docile, but defend themselves and nearby cubs; they may eat crops, arthropods, and rabbits, and can be scared off by nearby players or loud noises. Brown bears are more territorial and may attack players who get too close, though they tend to avoid people unless they are carrying favored foods; brown bears also raid crops, hunt prey, and try fishing in rivers and lakes. Polar bears are made larger and tougher, with increased health, damage, and knockback resistance, making close encounters in tundra more dangerous. The mod also adds raw and cooked bear meat from all three bear types, as well as bear spawn eggs for creative mode.
