Bed of Nails is an addon for Tough As Nails that makes player temperature changes more gradual and suited to a more demanding survival experience. Temperature moves toward a target set by the surroundings: for example, a nearby campfire draws the player toward its temperature instead of continually raising or lowering it. Calculations account for biome, time of day, shade, weather, nearby blocks, whether the player is in or underwater, and armor temperature and insulation values. Armor helps in extreme temperatures without overheating the player as easily in moderate conditions, while metal armor provides negative insulation, making the wearer colder in cold biomes and hotter in hot ones. Biome temperatures can be severe enough that staying comfortable may require active temperature management rather than relying on armor alone. Players can line normal armor with wool, leather, or leaf liner armor; lined pieces inherit most of the liner's stats in a configurable 90/10 split, and the rules do not allow lining a liner or combining two normal armor pieces. A display command reveals finer details about the temperature calculation.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.18 to 1.18.2.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.18 to 1.18.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.18 to 1.18.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs and code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
