    About

    Better Boilers adds modular multiblock boilers and turbines for producing steam and turning it into power. Boilers burn fuel to convert water into steam, and can be built at different sizes without a fixed shape, subject to a few placement rules. Turbines use a shaft connecting a controller to a power tap, with rotor stages fitted with two or four blades; coils around the blades convert steam into FE, with output affected by blade count and coil tier. The documented coil tiers are Iron and Gold, with Copper support when Immersive Engineering is installed. Boiler components include a solid-fuel controller, a water-input valve, a steam-output vent, firebox hatches for an alternative solid-fuel input, and an inspector for checking multiblock errors.
