    About

    Better Compass lets you link a compass to a chosen location by right-clicking a block, while an unlinked compass continues to point toward the world spawn as usual. Put a linked compass in a crafting bench to clear its link; alternatively, enable the Homing Compass option to add a separate item instead of changing the vanilla compass. Configuration options let you change how the compass activates, show custom-location or linked-location text in its tooltip, and allow it to work in other dimensions, which it does not do by default.
