    About

    Better Zombie Ai turns survival into a configurable zombie apocalypse, with controls available through a starting menu and commands, including options to prepare for or pause the outbreak. Zombies can break blocks, dig through or build over obstacles, and pursue players from a long distance and from underground, above, or other directions. They can also hunt nearby non-zombie mobs and turn some kills into additional zombies, while their health and damage can rise over time. The mod adds an infection progression with Bittern, minor infection, and infected effects that worsen and can eventually kill the player; milk is the stated cure. Other additions include sunlight-burning zombies wearing leather helmets, selectable mob bans, configurable block-breaking and drop rules, and decaying oak materials that can be gathered with rotten flesh and crafted into useful building pieces. Ghostblocks can optionally restore blocks damaged by zombie attacks and remove blocks zombies have built, letting the world gradually repair itself. Presets offer distinct setups such as Casual, Insanity, Compatibility, Hordes, Siege, and Healing, ranging from ongoing zombie pressure to bases under siege or a world that recovers after attacks.
