Moss, rust, and falling leaves make your world feel alive.

Immersive Weathering adds environmental changes and natural details to Minecraft, making landscapes and builds evolve over time without weathering that damages or griefs builds. Moss spreads across damp stone and brick, foliage grows on grass and other surface blocks, ivy can appear on forest trees, and leaf piles gather beneath trees; leaf piles can slow players and, when they grow tall, contribute to podzol or humus forming underneath. Heat and time can crack brickwork, with cracks spreading in varied patterns, while iron blocks and fittings rust according to moisture; rusty doors and trapdoors close more slowly as their rust deepens and may eventually stay open when unpowered. The mod also adds world-generation details such as fossil formations in hot, dry regions, icicle-covered caves in cold biomes, and distinctive surface soils including humus in dark forests, silt in wet areas, and permafrost in snowy regions. Players can reverse or manage many changes: shears remove moss, bark can be reapplied to stripped logs, bricks can repair cracked blocks, and tallow or honeycomb can preserve rustable blocks at their current state. The mechanics are configurable, and datapacks can customize or extend block growths and fluid generators, including the mod’s additional stone generators.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 3 areas:
Adds:
Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Replaces 10 of vanilla Minecraft's world generation files, 2 item textures and 2 advancements.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
