About
Bird's Foods adds more than 250 edible items that can be crafted using vanilla-style recipes, expanding food choices without adding new crops or drops. Its menu spans soups, stews, pies, sandwiches, burgers, tacos, curries, noodles, pasta, drinks, desserts, and vegetarian and vegan options, including examples such as bacon cheeseburgers, beer, shepherd's pie, and taco supreme. Some recipes involve extra preparation: basic foods can be chopped in a crafting grid, sandwiches can be toasted for more hunger restored, and drinks are commonly made by combining an ingredient with an empty bottle. High-quality foods can grant a temporary four-heart health boost, while certain legendary foods may provide additional bonuses. The Well Fed effect briefly slows hunger loss when you fill your hunger bar with sufficiently nourishing food. Alcoholic drinks provide buffs such as Regeneration or Haste, while palliatives including milk bottles and tea remove negative potion effects without clearing positive ones. The mod also includes unusual options such as Fugu, whose temporary toughness bonus comes with a risk, and configurable food effects.
