    About

    Bird’s Nests & Treasures adds four collectible treasure types to exploration: birds’ nests, bandit treasure pouches, sunken bottles, and ancient treasure. Nests can appear when trees are harvested and hold small items foraged from the surrounding biome, while bandit pouches may turn up in harvested grass or be hidden in sand and snow, containing things bandits might use or find. Sunken bottles can be found around beaches and coral or by digging in the ocean, and digging in remote deserts, ice caps, and tundras can uncover ancient treasures. Loot is tailored to each treasure type and can be affected by biome and other environmental conditions, which also influence how often treasures appear. Configuration options let players enable or disable treasure types, adjust their rarity, decide whether treasures can stack when they normally cannot, and control whether nests drop as leaves decay.
