Extended Caves expands underground exploration with generated caves, dungeons and cabins that can contain treasure pots holding random useful items; the cabins include jungle and cold-biome variants. Its cave decorations include six variants each of stalactites and stalagmites, pebbles, rock piles, limestone, lavastone and mosses, while cold-biome caves can contain patches of ice, packed ice and blue ice. Underground plants and mushrooms add both visual variety and practical effects: sweet mushrooms restore hunger when eaten or cooked, goldishrooms and shinyshrooms grant Haste, lumishrooms and fluoshrooms emit light, and frozen and fire moss slow or ignite mobs that enter them. Rare sealed crystals found on lavastone can be broken for effect crystals, which grant Speed, Fire Resistance or Regeneration when activated and can provide their effect again after recharging. The mod also adds biome-specific stones and decorations, including mud and mudstone in swamps, dirtstone in jungles, marlstone in savannahs and badlands, and slime bulbs that yield slime balls. Generation settings let players adjust or disable some structures and decorations, including mushroom group sizes.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.14 to 1.16.5.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 81 blocks, 26 items, 33 recipes and 21 advancements.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.14 to 1.16.5.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.14 to 1.16.5.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
