Window Box is a Botania addon that adds magical flowers, trees, utilities, and decorative items, with features aimed at botanical themes, gameplay conveniences, and custom scenarios such as skyblock or modpack progression. Its functional flowers include Groundberry, which converts nearby sand and gravel into suspicious variants with their associated loot, and Oxidaisel, which rapidly oxidizes nearby copper blocks. Glory Incarnata prevents Piglins and Hoglins from zombifying and reverses zombification in Piglins, Hoglins, and Villagers; Witch’s Pupil lets a player observe remotely after eating one of its Eye Berries. Dispelagonium removes potion effects from nearby entities when splashed with an effect, and the addon also provides potions for Wither, Mining Fatigue, and Levitation. Topsy Tulip can be attached to any side of a block and changes gravity so players can walk on walls, while Snapdresson saves a trinket loadout and re-equips its available items, including those stored in containers such as Trinket Cases or Shulker Boxes. Candysnuft generates mana when nearby candles are extinguished, consuming them in groups of no more than three, and Queen Anelace generates mana when a specific grass block in its square is broken while signaling that block with redstone. The Chthonic Yew and Alfthorne are growable trees with hollow interiors containing Nether and Alfheim portals respectively; the Alfthorne portal uses the same mana infusion needed to open an Alfheim Portal and is intended as a modpack progression option. Other additions include the Bouquet, which bundles up to three flowers, a survival-friendly Rod of the Acropolis for setting the shapes of stairs, fences, walls, and panes, and a Rod of the Grasslands that creates grass blocks instead of dirt. The addon also changes Manastar to show a wand HUD for the total fullness of its spark-connected pools, similar to the Mana Pool HUD.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 73 blocks, 8 items, 2 boats, 2 other entities, 63 recipes, 2 loot tables and 9 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
